Client list won't update if I have a port forwarded

Anybody else notice this?

I finally figured it out - this was driving me bat shirt crazy.

I rarely forward a port but when I do my client list refuses to update. I only get a few of the devices to show up no matter how many times I reboot the router.

As soon as I remove the forwarded port entry the client list populates just fine.

Just a coincidence, since there is no link between both, and I do have forwarded ports myself. Probably the fact that the network was partly restarted by the port removal that caused your client list to refresh.

I fully rebooted (pulled the power plug) the router several times while having the port forwarded and the client list would not populate with all the devices.

I removed the port forwarding and the client list would populate.

I've had issues with the client list not populating from the moment I got this router. Some fw updates worked better than others but it has never worked consistently. This is crucial when trying to set up parental controls - you cannot add a device if it doesn't show up on the list.
