Cloning MAC address on BE88U

Have a BE88U on the way. With my ISP (Fidium Fiber) it's easier to clone the current router MAC than deal with foreign based customer and tech support trying to get them to get the new router into their system.
I know where to input the Mac address , couldn't find anything to tell me do I press Mac clone then okay or just okay afterwards.

MAC Clone will clone the IP of the machine you’re logged in from. So just enter the correct MAC and then apply.

This won't work because you're trying to configure it as an AiMesh node and not a router (in addition to your router being damaged by malware).

Oh brother do I feel your pain with that experience. My new BE88U arrived Saturday morning. I spent quite a bit
of time that morning with a very foreign sounding woman on the phone. After many excuse me and can you please repeat
that for me I was blessed with getting disconnected. She took my phone number in case of a situation like that but
thankfully she did not call back.

The next morning when a tried again I got an awesome somewhat foreign sounding dude that knew exactly what to do and
had me up and running in under 15 minutes.

So far I am very glad that I have retired my old router that has been EOL for some time with a shiny new one.

Best of luck with yours.
