Complete n00b!3 to AiMesh

Three floors indeed, but no wire to the attic.
 
Then, I would test with both routers at diagonally opposite corners of the middle floor, in a wired backhaul configuration. :)

This will give you the best results possible for your home unless running more cable is a possibility too.
