Converting a Satellite to a Router (RBS50v2 to RBR50v2)?

Hey all,

I've found 2 Orbi Satellites (RBS50v2) in the electronics bin and was wondering, if there is any way to convert the Satellite to a Router?
So far, I changed board_data and id to match the router's defs and flashed the router firmware, however, I get a kernel panic when booting.

Anyone managed to do so?
