I've never had anything in my crash log, to my knowledge, until yesterday at about 3 pm CST. Approximately every 20 minutes or so:

You keep finding known issue that have answers and workarounds. :)

I am so sorry. I didn't know how to start to search for this one. Many of my searches result either in nothing, or too much material to wade through.
Most of this is over my head. If I could have hired somebody to do this, I would, but there's nobody around here that I can find that I would want anyway.
Thanks again,
jts

PS: I probably ask a lot of seemingly easy questions, but I'm not looking for the easy out. When I ask something here, it's because I don't know where else to turn. I've got some issues with a new vpn trial that I haven't got worked out yet, and I am about between a rock and a hard place there, too.

To the OP's defense, it's not quite obvious what to search for in this case, since all you get is a very long error message.

But yeah, this is a known issue with the RT-AC86U primarily, and does not seem to impair functionality (that service is tied to the Trend Micro engine, however the engine should still work fine even if it crashed).

Thanks, guys, and/or gals, for the help and advice. I am pretty sure something triggered it in my case. I had been running diversion smoothly for a couple of weeks, and had never saw anything in my crash log. Yesterday, around 3 pm, I was "chatting" with a VPN tech trying to get an OpenVNP configuration to work in the router, and I sure wish I knew what I changed then, becauseI did change a few parameters at their bidding.

Might not be so for the other cases. Might not even be so for mine. I got the VPN connection working this morning, and everything is smooth sailing once again. for now.
thanks again,
jts

Sorry I sounded harsh, yes you are right. Please keep trying to search, Practice makes perfect. :D

I for one will continue to help where I can. In the error above I pasted this line -
Code:
dcd[10047]: unhandled level 3 translation fault (11) at 0x00000000, esr 0x92000007

I know it must be frustrating to answer the same questions over and over day in and day out.
I will make a greater effort to look before asking. Thanks for reminding me.
