Custom firmware offering Mesh Networking?

I saw Asus has come out with firmware that allows older routers to be part of a mesh network. I also saw there is LibreMesh and a few others out there that offer it. Are there any other manufacturers other than Asus that are offering mesh firmware?

I have a R7800, R7000 and a Linksys EA6700 that are sitting around doing nothing with that I can use to test this stuff out. I just want some recommendations.
