Default gateway value not propagating via DHCP

New Around Here
OK setup is 1 RT-AC3100 working as the main AiMesh Router with 2 RT-AC68 nodes on ethernet backhauls. The only network changes I have made was going to AiMesh from Router / AP mode. Now all of a sudden I have to add the gateway IP to all of the client machines because they can't seem to get the value from DHCP . Everything works after adding that setting; though I do end up with 2 Networks according to Windows 10 a private one and a public Unknown one. Also not sure if this is related but I can't get the 2 Chromebooks to connect for more than 30 seconds now, I have a work around for those but....

Holy crap I'm tearing my hair out today because I'm having the same sort of issue with DNS. I've tried setting the DNS to a server other than the router in LAN, in WAN, in both LAN and WAN, and it never updates the clients. I've flushed DNS's everywhere and tried everything I can think of. I'm down to paging through conf files on the router in hopes I find the stored DNS entry (which I cant see anywhere).

Update: After a disappointing chat with customer service, I decided to nuke the router config and start from scratch. It took like 4 tries to actually get the thing to fully factory reset, but once it did and I rebuilt everything it started propagating new settings like it was supposed to.

Ok, that was my last and least desired option guess I get to have some fun rebuilding everything again. :)

The AP Mode don't support DHCP Server functionality. Your client's IP/subnet/DNS shall be rely on other DHCP Server in your network.
