Delay Wan connection at restart

Hi,

I have a modem connected with ASUS router on 1G lan interface. The modem uses PPPoE connection to router.

I have a situation that when both modem and router are restarted together, I want to delay the WAN connection say for 4 mins so that modem stabilizes the connection. Is there a script or something in place to do that to connect to WAN after 4 mins of router restart.

I am using Firmware:3004.388.8_4

If anyone can help me with a cron script to delay WAN service or router start after 4 mins of getting power that would be great.
If you can't find a script that does what you want visit the 5GStore and look at their IP switches. They allow you to stagger the restart of devices plugged in when power comes back on as well as automatically power cycle modems and/or routers if they lose contact with the Internet.
