Disable shell auto logout?

Is there a way to disable the shell auto logout?
Web auto logout is disabled already but it doesn't seem to affect the shell.

Mine doesn't auto-logout. Check your SSH client for any keep-alive setting.

But i live dangerously and still use telnet at home...and they do autologout if idle long enough.

Some unresolved issues with my Cygwin terminal which refuses to clear screen anymore, and this affects ssh too. Command line clients are nice because they can be tabbed with ConEmu.

Use a native telnet/SSH client instead, such as XShell or Putty.
