Disconnecting verizon fios

Does anyone know how to disconnect the fiber cable from the Verizon FIOS panel?

We installed FIOS a few weeks ago and it has not worked out for us. To make a long story short, the DVR will not recognize the remote control while my plasma TV is on (two technicians out to my house and unable to resolve) and my Roku boxes are unable to achieve high quality HD anymore. I received HD quality most of the time with Comcast. We are going back to Comcast.

Verizon does not remove the panel. They only take back the modem and set top boxes. I'd like the keep the cable in working order should we decided to retry FIOS in the future, but remove the panel. Can anyone provide guidance on how to remove the fiber cable into the panel without destroying it?

Appreciate the help.

Can you take some pictures of what your dealing with? This panel they had installed on your home or is it a module box (grey in color). I get more HD 1080i channels then I did with Comcast. I still have them only for internet and they're expensive but the service on that back-end is 95%. I was thinking to go with with Verizon HomeShare or FIOS just for internet only. Don't need to spend so much on CATV today. H-DTV is much better more channels are coming to it and the same ones you pay for on CATV but with H-DTV free which I now get 71 channels.
