Fortunately, nothing works better with dnsmasq like exact domains. You would need a specially coded interpreter like Pihole uses to run regex. Diversion lacks this complex blocking. Diversion relies strictly on exact domains blocking, and limited wildcard domain blacklisting.Hi all. Maybe this has already been discussed and need not be relitigated but why use host file format? Why not regexp? regexp > hosts file format, sort of obviously?
If it could be done I would have built in regexp a long time ago. Dnsmasq just does not support it. That's why.Hi all. Maybe this has already been discussed and need not be relitigated but why use host file format? Why not regexp? regexp > hosts file format, sort of obviously?
