DNS servers in WAN

I am a bit confused...

What is a difference if any, if I define, for example, cloudflare servers in "DNS Servers" or in DoT "Preset Servers"? My goal in my case is to be protected in DNS Leak with cloudflare.

What is a correct combination?!

1.) DNS Servers -> ISP servers
Dot Servers -> Cloudflare

2.) DNS Servers -> Google
DoT -> Cloudflare

3.) DNS Servers -> Cloudflare
DoT -> Disabled, since Cloudflare are already defined in DNS Servers

Hopefully I make sense in what I wnat to ask you guys...

Thanks in advance!

You need both. DNS Servers are used when the router boots to set system time. The DoT servers encrypt the DNS once the router is up.
