DNSCrypt exits when SSH closed

I have dnscrypt installed with Entware, and it starts when the router boots and runs without issue. However, if I restart it from an SSH session (i.e., /opt/etc/init.d# ./S09dnscrypt-proxy2 restart), it dies whenever I close the SSH session. I assume because it's not being daemonized that way. What am I doing wrong. I hate rebooting the router every time I make a config change to dnscrypt.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. I wonder how entware is starting it as a daemon? I looked in rc.unslung and I don't see anything obvious.

You may also want to try the installer. It also have a function of checking for availability of the process and restarted automatically if needed.
