Do the USB ports support multi-bay enclosures?

Until I put together a proper NAS i'm looking at purchasing a cheap vanilla 4 bay HDD enclosure like this product. Looking at the web interface on the router it would seem that it's expecting only 1 drive mounted on each USB port or can it each port handle JABOD (Just a Bunch of Disks)?

Depends how they expose it to the host. If the host sees it as one single large USB disk and that it does not require proprietary USB drivers, then it should work.
