does asus rt-ac88u worth it ?

let's start by saying i had a very bad experience with top router from dlink-dir895l.
the first one worked for a week then started dropping connection and constantly rebooting.. etc

also did the second unit.


due to that i think i will skip on the asus rt-ac5300 so my second choice is the rt-as88u.

to help all what i want with the router is to be stable so i set it up and just left it there ,good wifi range and good qoc engine for online gaming.


i have 100/20 internet connection
12-15 connected devices

also my stupid isp trying to force us to buy routers from them to use my own router it must support " internet vlan id"

does rt-as88u support that ?

Asuswrt supports VLANs on the WAN interface. You might want to double check with other users from your specific ISP however, as some ISP networks can get quite creative in their requirements.
