Solved Does AXE16000 10G port support 2.5G?

Hello

My question is whether the 10G ports in ASUS ROG GT-AXE16000 support 2.5G speeds, or if they are 100/1000/10000 only.

Thanks in advance

The majority of 10G ports will support 10m/100m/1gb/2.5gb/5gb/10gb

According to many people that's not always the case, maybe someone has this exact router and can check?
I searched web a lot but couldn't find a certain answer...

PC has a 5G port.
Edit. I don't That AXE16000 anymore. I have a GT-AX6000. This always had better nternet speeds than the 16000.
I went back and forth a quite few times. 6000 was always clearly better.

really wow so seems the axe16000 with updated firmware is still only supports 10 or 2.5gbps out of the 10gbe ports, im disappointed i just ordered a axe16000. Good to know about the ax6000. I currently have ax86u-merlin and its been solid just lacks the 10gbe ports

i been eyeing the MikroTik RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN and flint 2, but unfortunately neither offers 10gbe or 5gbe and dual wan. I did reach out to the founder of flint 2 and seems they might be working on flint 4

IDK if you saw my posts comparing the 6000 to the 16000. Very interesting results. Still unsure why the 6000 was better. So easy to see the differences with the graphs.

Edit: Oh and I forgot I tested with a USB 2.5Gig thing on my PC. Then I bought a 5Gig PCIe card for that PC.
At one point, I thought the 16000 was good again after a FW update or something. It was still slower. The 6000 always maxed out.

@Tech9 knows how these 10g ports. They are not true 10g ports or something.
