Now that I have a number of smart devices (thermostat, security cams, etc) in my home, I'm finding internet outages a bit more than a nuisance when I'm away from home. I'm considering a FreedomPOP USB CDMA modem to use in my AC-5300 (Dual WAN - failover). I'm just not finding much current information. Does anybody know if any of their available USB modems will work?
If yes, my next question is how could I automatically limit which devices could continue to operate during failover and how could I be notified of failover/failback?
