Solved entware not mounting after reboot

Lately, possibly since the 386.2_2 upgrade, entware is not mounting after a router reboot. I don't see any script being run in /jffs/scripts that mounts entware.
Also after installation with amtm entware is not mounted under /opt/entware but directly under /opt, e.g. /opt/bin, /opt/sbin, ...
Any ideas what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong, that's how it's meant to be. /opt is a soft link to your USB drive.

Okay. The problem is that after a reboot it's not mounted anymore although I can see the USB stick under /mnt. I also have a hard drive connected to the other USB port which also mounts under /mnt. But I am missing the link to /opt. Where should this happen?

Sorry, I've never used amtm to install Entware so I don't know how it mounts it.

Make sure you have enabled custom scripts and configs on the router.

Thanks. I got all that. It used to work but somehow since the 386.2_2 upgrade there are some issues.

Do you have Diversion installed? Entware is started via the /jffs/addons/diversion/mount-entware.div script called from post-mount script.

Check your post-mount script. I am not sure how entware is started if you are not using Diversion, but I suspect that the rc.unslung has to be called from post-mount.

Any reason you're not using 386.2_4 today?

I don't have diversion.
r.unslung is only in services-stop

Haven't really gotten to that, yet. Especially since I have been dealing with other intermittent Internet connectivity problems that the ISP is still debugging. Maybe later. Thanks:-)

That is strange. I would expect entware to be started via the post-mount script. I would try to re-install entware from AMTM.

Looks like it had something to do with a corrupted USB memory stick. Replaced it and re-installed entware. Seems to be working now.
Thanks for all the help :)
