Is it possible to flash the ExpressVPN firmware made for Asus RT-AC68U on the AC66U_B1?

Since they don't seem to follow the GPL requirements of providing source code, we can't check. You'd have to ask them. It depends on whether their firmware uses recent enough code to support the newer BCM4708 revisions.

I've just tried and it works. On a 50mbps connection I get 40mbps so I'm satisfied
