factory reset to ensure all the latest security enhancements are properly applied???????????

Hi, I also updated to this firmware and no WiFi clients could connect to the node anymore. Cable worked fine

I am using the RT-AX57 as an aimesh node from an RT-AX88U with a wired backbone. Wireless clients could still connect with the ax88u no prob.

I tried full resets as per the Asus instructions etc ..but the ax57 WiFi only worked again after I downgraded to the previous firmware.

Have Asus borked the firmware?

I have updated with this firmware one RT-AX57 and two RT-AX55 all used in AP mode. Main router is RT-AX82U. Everything works fine WITHOUT doing any reset.

@tiomiguel hmm... but you don't use Aimesh.. I never tried my AX57 not as a node.. but @laxfunctor didn't get the firmware to work either.
I couldn't get wireless clients to connect, even with WPS or direct with the password... perhaps they have messed with the encryption...
Are you using WPA2-Personal for the Wi-Fi encryption or something else ?

I also find it odd with this update that on the website it specifically states
"We recommend updating to this firmware version and performing a factory reset to ensure all the latest security enhancements are properly applied." (link)
It's also in bold red letters... it doesn't do this for any other firmware I looked up for on the website... so careful perhaps you don't have it fully applied.

I use WPA2 personal.
Perhaps changes are not fully applied for my RT-AX57 but is in AP mode no main router...
YYes they are in red, for so I posted this thread
