I currently have my Xbox connected directly to the rt-n66u with a brand new cat 5e cable. I even tried another cable to be sure but I continue to get lagged connection when watching videos from the attached external hard drive connected to the router. The cable is only 10 ft. long and I am also running RMerlin's latest firmware. I also get dropped connection sometimes while gaming on the Xbox. There seems to be no connection issues on my ISP end as they have had maintenance crews out troubleshooting the issue and also had me on a ping-plotter for several days. Any ideas?
