Faulty device? (RT-AC66U)

Hello.

I just got my new router RT-AC66U (R, actualy) this morning and I proceeded immediately to setup my new device.

The problem is that I only see blinking lights, nothing else. The power adapter is blinking, and the WAN, LAN1 and LAN2. The Power light is just off. Am I doing something wrong? Should I reset it somehow? Because I think I just got a Dead on Arrival device...

I bought a refurbished device, so maybe I am the lucky guy who got a broken one.

If the power adapter light is also blinking, this is a hardware fault.

Well, shirt! First time experiencing a DOA device... I guess my only option is to send it back to Newegg. Or should I contact Asus directly?

Thank you for the information, that saves me some energy, even though it kills all the excitement I had with the idea of flashing with your FW and mess around with the router!

Send it back to new egg for a new one if you are still in return for refund or replacement period , if you send to Asus you'll get a refurb in return
