Firmware not updating

Hello to all, I a have an Asus Personal Cellspot RT-AC68U, last Merlin firmware was 384.7 and does not support iMesh, the router works fine but it won't take any further upgrades... I am now running RT-AC3100 and running an iMesh network... Does anyone knows how to do a hard firmware upgrade? any suggestions are welcome...
