What is the significance of the IP being displayed in "Red" and as the Pixelserv address instead of the "Normal" white with the service provider IP address?

The router is connected to an ARRIS 6950 modem that has wifi built in and has 4 ethernet jacks for the output to the router. Only the router is connected, no other ports in use.

I believe the wifi is shut off. (Parents home)

Is this normal for a modem with wifi built in?
