GS716Tv2 - IP ACL Question

Hi there,

I wondering if someone can help me how the IP ACL work on GS716Tv2. I read document but I can't wrap around it and I'm afraid that might accidentally block entire LAN in the process.

My goal is to get up anti spoof on my lan. For starter, I want to deny any packets coming from outside of lan using local ip address. So far all the example are cisco related and it is straight forward.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

wouldn't you do those things on the router, not a switch? A switch tries to ignore layer 3 which is where IP lives.

My router is just consumer router asus rt-n66u. I hoping that I can do it on my switch since it mention about ACL. Looking the spec, it seems that it can only do layer 4 on ACL. Thanks for pointing out. Now at least I have some understanding that require layer 3 for ACL.

Can you provide point to me to direction on what I should be looking for router when it comes to dealing like anti spoofing?
