Guest Network Internet Access

dusthead

New Around Here
So, I realize this may be an unpopular idea (for now)...but I'd like to serve free internet access using the guest network feature. When friends are over, friends of friends, or my tenant has guests over - I'd like for them to be able to connect to the internet via wifi and not have to get my super secret squirrel password and be able to see everything on my internal network. It seems like the guest network is for sh#ts and giggles, possibly for devices that use it to talk together but that's it. Is there a way to open up the internet for that network? Thanks in advance.

Jason

UPDATE: found the thread about android devices loosing internet, likely due to the power saving feature, so I've now set all three things as such:

Lan -> Switch Control: Disable GRO = No
WIFI -> Professional: Enable WMM APSD = Disable
5Ghz radio = On

I also need to create a "Guest Account" for my sister's new AC66. My AC66 2.4 and 5 use two different passwords. It's unclear what would be best for my sister and her simple needs.

My bad. It appears to be rather simple. Click on the "Guest Network" button on the left, enable one for either 2.4 or 5gh. Configure the rest of the settings for that channel.
