New Around Here
I am using an ASUS AX3000 set to repeater mode and is connected to another ASUS router, AX55. They both have different subnets, AX3000's IP address is 192.168.100.1 subnet 255.255.255.0 and AX55's IP address is 10.0.0.1 subnet 255.255.255.0.
I have internet access when connected to the repeater router (AX3000) but DHCP assigns IP addresses to the parent router's pool. When looking at my WiFi config page on macOS as well as Android, they report that my router IP address is 10.0.0.1, which is the IP of the parent router. I am unable to connect to the web interface of the AX3000 router, which is running ASUSwrt-merlin.
If anyone is able to share with me the correct protocol for setting up two routers in repeater mode, so that I may access the repeater router's web interface, I would be very grateful! I'm using the AX3000 to bring internet access to my Proxmox server in my office. The internet modem is in another room and can't be moved.
Thanks!
