Please forgive me for my poor English...
I am a complete noob on networking
I've been using my DIR 615 for more than 2 yrs and it has been running properly, at least it does wt I need...
Recently I bought a Buffalo Linkstation 1TB NAS, mainly for file sharing and torrenting, and another user ( using a laptop connecting on wireless) starts watching streamed videos from the internet.
After the changes, when I played Bad Company 2 on my PC, it suffered some packet loss problem, which never happened before... My friend who was in the same server didn't have the problem, as we use the same ISP and same package, I thought that should be my router's problem.
Does it help by upgrading to another router, or I should build one?
My budget is about $120, I don't think I can have a perfect solution within the budget,
I think Gaming and Torrenting will have the highest priority, and I think I need 1 set of Gigabit Lan ports for faster file transfer among the PCs.
Here are some information that maybe helpful:
my WAN package:
30Mbps download, 10Mbps download ADSL
Thanks!
