Help with bricked router

Occasional Visitor
Hi,

I am a newbie and now feel like an idiot.

I flashed openwrt on my tplink. However, didn't like it so tried to go back to original firmware via winscp. Winscp hanged and process got terminated.

Now when i go to 192.168.1.1, a strange html page opens with plain text. i can ping my router at 192.168.1.1.

I tried "telnet 192.168.1.1" but it says "could not open a connection to host port 23".

The router broadcasts ssd over wifi and i can connect my ipad to it. However I cannot access it via 192.168.1.1 and hence cannot change the settings.

Can anyone help me to get my router back.
Regards

Which model do you first off. Did you follow the 30-30-30 plus 30-30-30 rule of flashing the ROM with DD-WRT. Did your model support DD-WRT it has too. If you had issues as long as there AC going into the router then you should be able to recover back to the stock firmware.
