Hi guys,
I have two netgear nighthawk r7000 routers on my network. Router #1 runs stock firmware. Router #2 is ddwrt and running openvpn. I can connect to router #2 from any device wirelessly and be on the vpn. Also, any device that is hardwired from router #2 will be on the vpn. Both of these routers are communicating well and I don't have any issues. The problem I have is that the only way to connect to the vpn network on some devices is to wirelessly connect even though these devices carry a hardwire connection. I have to disconnect from the hardwire connection and connect wirelessly to get on the vpn. I don't like this because on some devices I need a hardwire connection and lose speed. How can I fix this?
