HotSpot on ASUS AC-68 Router?

I'd like to be able to run a hotspot software package (WiFiDog, Sputnik, ChillSpot, etc.) on my AC-68 to provide a little more control for an open guest network. Has anyone been able to do this? I'm actually running Merlin firmware on this device, but I suspect that this is a generic ASUS question, not really Merlin specific.
