How do I configure my VPN access with the Merlin firmware?

I'm not able to install the others, and DD-WRT looks shaky and risky. I have an OpenVPN provider, and I have seen many people use their N66U successfully with their providers.

I try to do my best with the parameters and pasted the key and certificates in the menu, but I am told in the OpenVPN logs when I tried to connect that the TLS handshake is rejected.

You said in quite a few posts that this firmware had all the same functionality and you could use Tomato tutorials, but I don't see an option to insert these scripts anywhere in the control panel.

Same features when it comes to specific parts, such as OpenVPN (they share the same code).

In this case, you would have to use the wan-start user script instead of the WAN Up webui section for Tomato.
