How do you save traffic analyzer data on ASUS RT-AC68U?

If the power outage or anything happens and my router is offline for a few minutes, how do I back up the info in the Traffic Analyzer?

Traffic Analyzer data is stored on the non-volatile JFFS partition. It will survive reboots or power failures.

There was a power outage in my area and when the power came back online, my monthly per device(mac/ip) was reset to 0.00Gb. If I plugged in my USB, would this prevent the counter from resetting due to a power outage or reboots?

That is the Traffic Monitor not the Traffic Analyzer. If you want to preserve that data you need to save it to somewhere other than RAM.

What's the minimum space required for a USB?

Traffic monitoring takes about 2kB, IPTraffic takes about 30kB. Because they're so small you could save them to the internal storage (/jffs/), that's the same place that the Traffic Analyzer database is stored. Then you don't need a USB drive.

Yes, the size hardly changes as the space is pre-allocated. The files only store daily information on the last 62 days and monthly information on the last 25 months.
