There's been discussion around the 68U and getting close to EOL...
Some of this is upstream being limited, entware and even the Asus GPL which will eventually limit Eric's builds... and third party upstreams like entware.
I think it's realistic to see where the device goes into security updates only, and perhaps bug-fixes when possible...
The AC68U is a 12 year old platform - it will be more difficult over time to keep things secure, much less current with tech...
