How to change 2.4ghz channel while keeping Smart Connect on ASUSRT-AC5300

Hi,
I am tweaking my asus RT-AC5300. On my wifi scanner, my 2.4 ghz channel shows up as 6 where most everyone else is. I want to move to a higher channel, but not lose smart connect. Can you help me?

Impossible to maually select channel and use smart connect.
