How to debug PPPOE handshake

Hi.. How can I debug the PPPoE handshake? I set my modem to Bridge mode, but the router (AC68) is not connecting to the remote.. I did not see anything in the usual log files.

You'd probably need to install Entware and the tcpdump package, to do packet captures. There is no debug option available.

You can also add “dump” in additional pppd options and it will show what settings pppd is using in the pppoe handshake under your syslogs.
