How to whitelist for unbound dns blocker

Hello I’m trying to unblock click.redditmail.com on my network and I’m pretty sure it’s unbound that is blocking it as I have it whitelisted on Skynet and diversion. Do I have to do it in the configs?

If you have the file /opt/share/unbound/configs/allowhost, add it there. That assumes you’re using the adblock from unbound manager, but I don’t know why you would if you already have Diversion.

But it does use StevenBlack list, which blocks that domain.

I’m using the Large list so I assume whatever is in there is covered by unbound so I’ll turn off the ad blocking on that.

Should I remove the dns firewall too if I have skynet?
Remove the dns firewall because it’s just another dns blocklist already included in the big oisd list. It doesn’t compete with Skynet as an IP blocker.

I would remove both and leave Diversion only if on-router ad-blocking is what the user wants.
