Intel Centrino N2230 Upgrade help

My wifes laptop, a HP M6 x015dx has a Intel Centrino N2230. I want to upgrade to a 7260 AC WiFi card. Can I ? She has Windows 8.1. I have an AC1750 Archer router..

It depends if the "Intel Centrino N2230" is accessible and removable.
If so, then it will be a straight swap with the 7260 AC wifi card (as long as you get exactly the same form factor).

It is easy to replace. Will get one. Our hope is to achieve better range going from e3000 linksys to archer c7 and ac wifi chips
