Should one set connection type to "native" if they use comcast / xfinity?

I use comcast/xfinity and I set my connection to native. It works for me.

Yes, Native is the right choice for "Connection type" for Comcast. Also make sure that these are set:

enable "DHCP-PD"
Autoconfiguration "Stateless"
enable "Connect to DNS Server automatically"
enable "Enable Router Advertisement"
enable "Enable DHCPv6 Server"
