Is my hardware firewall still viable?

Hello,

I have a small network that is protected with a Zyxel Zywall 5 - an aging device.

As I look to expand my network, is the Zywall 5 a component that I need to replace, or can I continue use it? I have not required a VPN since I bought the Zywall , but may need one in the future.

My network has a workstation (windows 8), a "hobby" Ubuntu server, HTPC, network printer, network scanner, and a music streamer - all wired. Additionally I have an airport express that supports a music streamer for a bedroom stereo, a PS3, my daughter's laptop, and wife's iPad. The wireless side is a separate network isolated at the Zywall 5.

If I need to replace the Zywall, what should I consider?
