BACKUPMON Is the purge function deleting other files?

Just a quick one. I store other files in the same directory BACKUPMON saves it's backups. Stuff like custom icons and config backups from YazDHCP. I noticed this morning those files are gone.
It's not an issue, I can store them elsewhere but I just liked keeping everything together should disaster recovery ever be needed.
Would a hidden folder in the directory be seen by BACKUPMON?
I do know that the files I add are already in the backup - before anyone says it.

With method are you using? I'll need to dive into the code, but I'm thinking it probably does just wipe everything out, and isn't limited to just the backup file(s).

For uploading the files? sftp

I'm trying the hidden folder method. Will know in a couple of days what happens.
It's a non-issue, I was just interested in the answer.

Sorry, meant like monthly, perpetual, basic, advanced, etc.

I'd be interested if your hack works! Lemme know!

Of course. I use the perpetual setting, purge after 30 days. I've set the purge to 2 days for this test.

Something I just noticed - may not affect everyone. Purge doesn't work on manual backups. Is this intentional? No sweat, the manual purge is there.

Exactly. In that mode backups run separately from purges.
