Is there a hardware review of the TP-Link AX3000 router so I can compare it to the Netgear R7800?

Are hardware reviews being done on the TP-Link AX3000 router? I would like to compare it to the Netgear Nighthawk R7800 router.

Welcome to the forums @BigE_123. :)

None that are reliably easy to recommend.

What do you want to compare between them?

Unless you're running the R7800 with @Voxel's firmware, the much newer mode (even if it's a TP-Link) should be observably better.

If you want performance and security in better balance to your most important network hardware, I suggest an RMerlin supported router instead, today.

RMerlin firmware Security Reasons

Features | Asuswrt-Merlin (asuswrt-merlin.net)

Changelog | Asuswrt-Merlin (asuswrt-merlin.net)

You'll be hard-pressed to find that kind of bug-fixing, security-focused, and stability/performance improvements on any other consumer router today.
