Is there a Lets Encrypt bug? My certificate registered but is stuck on updating.

Also, while stuck on updating, underneath it says it was issued to my gateway ip. Shouldn't it have been issued to my public wan ip?
When I run my query at http://iplookup.asus.com/nslookup.php, the result is my public wan ip.

I've also got https selected in my authentication mode, and I'm still getting the unsecured connection when I connect to my router. I assume that may be due to my Lets Encrypt issue, but not sure....

Do I need to take this up with Asus?

FWIW, it's a brand new RTac86u and I upgraded firmware and then factory reset it before configuring it. I also have Smart Connect disabled.

Lets Encrypt should be for connections from the WAN. LAN connections to the router may report unsecured. Nothing to worry about. I really wonder why one needs to use https on an internal connection?

Wan connections are showing unsecured despite appearing to use https. Are you saying it is secured?

Did a test today to check what I had told you. Using the URL https://router.asus.com:8443/ to connect to the router from the LAN, Firefox told me I had an insecure connection.
With AiCloud enabled on my router using Asus DDNS with Lets Encrypt, I connected to my router from the internet (WAN connection) https://(myname).asuscomm.com with Firefox and got no security warning. So, Firefox recognized the Lets Encrypt certificate as valid. Also connected using the IOS AiCloud app with no issues.
