Lifx String lights not connecting to BE 98-Pro with Merlin

Hello I am trying to use lifx string lights on my BE-98 Pro router with the latest version of Merlin but regardless of what I do it won’t connect. I tried using an old netgear router to initaly connect the lights and that worked but when I switch back to my main router they will not connect. I had this same issue with my AX-11000 router but have no idea what I did to fix the issue. I will try a separate IOT network but I had issue with HomePods and IOT network before so that would fix one issue whole creating another.

Set. up an IoT Guest network with WPA/WPA2-Personal encryption on the 2.4 GHz band. Many IoT clients do not like the newer WIFI. I've tested 3006.102.5 beta 2 on my AX86U Pro and had a couple of IoT clients that work on Asus firmware but not on Merlin without dumbing down the WIFI.
