Linksys LRT214: How to use SSL certificate?

Hi,

The Linksys LRT214 has a menu option SSL Certificate, under Configuration, System Management. The mediocre manual only states the obvious for each of the configuration points there, without saying what the SSL certificate is actually used for.

Does someone know what this SSL Certificate is used for? Can it be used for the administration GUI, to have an SSL certificate that matches an assigned domain name and to be able to connect without getting the typical browser warnings?
