I am running Merlin 384.4_2 on a Asus RT-AC87U machine.
I need a connection to my network to check webcams and to access my data. My carrier is using CGN IPv4 without the possibility for a private IPv4 address.
I found a service, which is renting IPv4 addresses at the endpoint of a VPN-server. I want to use this VPN connection, to connect to my Asus VPN-server (VPN within VPN), but I'm not able to connect. I have a running VPN-server on the Asus router, works like a charm, if I use it within my network, but I'm not able to connect over the internet and the existing VPN-client. I tried port forwarding, but that didn't help.
If I set up a computer as VPN-server and client, I am able to connect to this machine via the VPN connection. But I want to use the Asus router instead.
Any help is appreciated.
