I'm really struggling here and hoping someone has some suggestions. I recently purchased an Actiontec ECB2200V MocA network adapter and my bandwidth results are disappointing. Using the adapted I'm seeing:
1. 35 - 45 Mbps TCP (not very good)
2. 88 - 94 Mbps UDP (happy with this)
With the laptop connected directly to my switch both, TCP and UDP are >90Mbps, so I have eliminated the desktop or laptop as a bottleneck.
The connect speed from the Coax Connection Stats are 232.46 for the ECB and 233.07 for the STB. These seem very good to me.
Would replacing the MI424WR Rev. C with Rev. E have any favorable impact on the bandwidth. The only other thing would be to return the ECB2200 for another to see if the results are the same. I have tried different cables and also modified various setting in the router, no real differences.
Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!
