Most appropriate way to replace USB used for logging / addons?

checked the disk check log and it showed there'd been an error during a recent bootup where it fixed something in the journaling (yes, I know, not very helpful, but I'd already deleted that log file before I saw this in the system.

So, I'm thinking I'll replace the USB stick....but....I've got data from various addons that I'd like to retain.....and, my linux commands just aren't that strong beyond change directory, ls and nano.
Is there a way I can replace the existing USB with a new one by effectively cloning it, volume name and all so that I don't have to change any paths? If so, how.....and if not, then ...suggestions.

Assuming the partitions are still readable, you can copy partitions from one USB drive to the other using GParted.

(or just boot an Ubuntu Live image off USB/CD)
