I am having trouble getting my NAS to work. I installed 4 Hitachi 2TB HD's, and turned the system on - following LG's instructions by pressing/holding the select button then powering up. When I do this, the system shuts off and does not proceed through any menus as one would expect.
When I power up without pressing the select button, I get SVC_CODE[1A_00], which indicates I need to go through setup.
I did install each of the 4 drives into a windows pc and the drives are working. I'm out of ideas, please help
Edit for mis naming the drive brand. Also for an a question - is this the symptom of hd's that will not work in the system? LP's been less than helpful.
