New Around Here
hello,
I recently replaced my belkin N600 router for the asus N66U. Both routers had the ability to attach a usb for network storage. the belkin never had a problem with using the usb device and it works when plugged directly into the laptop usb port. I have 2 laptops both running win 7 and both are connected to the same frequency. after setting up the n66u I am only able to see the router storage device on one laptop. it shows up under "network" in windows explorer on one of the pc's. I can access the usb without any problems on this pc. I can not see it on my other laptop though. I tried manually accessing it thinking it might be a name resolution problem, I made sure my "workgroup" service is running and all the computers are in the same workgroup name as the router. still no luck, cannot access \\192.168.1.1. any ideas? im running the latest release official firmware on the n66u.
